"In every generation…
someone must protect history."
For more than half a century, the story of the Negro Baseball League lived only in the memories of the men who played it — men who wore their uniforms with pride, who competed with brilliance, and who were told the world was not ready to see them.
Legacy of Legends is a 3D animated feature film that brings those memories to life. Drawing from the real experiences of former Chicago American Giants player Dennis “Bose” Biddle, the film follows a generation of athletes who built something extraordinary against every obstacle America placed in their path.
This is not simply a baseball story. It is an American story — one of courage, excellence, sacrifice, and the enduring power of community.
Dennis “Bose” Biddle is one of the youngest living former players of the Chicago American Giants — a man who walked onto the field during the final chapter of an era that shaped American sports, culture, and community.
For decades, Bose carried these stories within him — the games, the players, the segregated stadiums, the extraordinary talent that the world refused to see on equal terms. He is the living bridge between that history and the generations who never knew it existed.
His son Dennis Biddle, founder of Yesterday’s Negro League Baseball Player Company, heard these stories and made a promise: the world will know. Legacy of Legends is the fulfillment of that promise.
Bose Biddle is also the author of The Secrets of the Negro Baseball League — a firsthand account of the era that inspired this film, written by the man who lived it.
